An Oregon Contractor – Residential Developer Bond is a type of surety bond required by the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) for individuals or businesses who arrange for the construction or development of residential properties with the intent to sell them.

Individuals or businesses who meet the following criteria must be licensed:

• Own or have an interest in the properties they develop.
• Arrange for construction or development of residential structures or small commercial real estate they intend to sell.
• Act in association with one or more licensed general contractors for overseeing construction phases.
• Do not perform any actual construction work on the property themselves.
