Surety1 was founded in 2003 as an independent insurance agency specializing in surety bonds. The company was founded by John Page, who began his career in the surety industry in 1987. John is a former Vice President of a top 10, national surety company. According to John, “Working on the company side of this business for so many years, I realized that most independent agents have, at best, a cursory understanding of surety bonds. After 15 years as a surety bond underwriter, I decided to try to exploit this weakness in the product delivery side of the insurance industry and I started Surety1.”

In 2019, Surety1 joined Assured Partners of California, LLC, remaining a surety bond only shop, dedicated to excellence in everything we do.
