There are 3 different types of dealer licenses.
- Independent Dealer- retail or wholesale sales
- Franchise Dealer- new motor vehicles sales with a manufacturer as well as used vehicles
- Wholesale Dealer- buy, sell, deal only at wholesale prices with other licensed dealers
