The West Virginia Outfitter Guide Bond is required by the Department of Natural Resources. The bond amount is set at $1,000. It states that the bondholder shall faithfully perform services pursuant to their license.

Applicant’s shall file with the Director an Outfitter and Guide Initial License Application. After the initial application is accepted, a payment of $10 for the license fee is due. In addition, applicant’s must submit verification of liability insurance, first aid certification, and a National Forest Permit. Boater Education Permit of Certification to Conduct Boating Safety Orientation permit (if applicable).
