The Utah Hotel Liquor Bond is for those who are applying for a Resort Liquor License. The license is issued for the storage, sale, service, and consumption of alcoholic beverages on the premises of a resort building that has at least 150 dwelling or lodging accommodations and the building must be at least 400,000 square feet. The bond states that the bondholder, its officers, agents, and employees shall faithfully comply with the provisions of Title 32B-8, Utah Code, and the rules and directives of the Utah Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission and the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. The amount set by the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control is set at $25,000.
In addition to the bond, applicants for the resort license must also pay an application fee of $300 as well as an initial fee of $10,000. Additional sub-licenses (including a full-service restaurant, limited-service restaurant, beer only restaurant, on-premise banquet facility, club, etc) will require $2,000 each.
