This bond may be asked for those who are not required to obtain TxDMV Motor Carrier Registration or Unified Carrier Registration. This bond is to ensure that any damage that might be sustained by the highway because of the operation of the equipment will be paid for.
You must file your Superheavy or Oversize Permit bond with Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. You are allowed to fax the completed bond and mail the original immediately by regular mail.
