The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Bond is required by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. The bond states that the bond holder shall faithfully conform with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code and Rules Commission.

Who is required to submit a Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Bond

This surety bond, according to the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, is required for holders of a Beer Retailer’s On Premise License or a Wine and Beer Retailer’s Permit who do not hold a Food and Beverage Certificate. The bond is only required for Texas, Dallas, Harris and Tarrant counties only or those with a population of more than 1.4 million. The initial amount of the performance bond is set at $2,000. If the first bond is forfeited, a second bond must be submitted but the amount increases to $4,000. If the second bond is again forfeited due to a violation, the next bond amount is set at $6,000 before the license may be reinstated.
