What is the purpose of the Texas Continuous Manufactured Housing Bond?
The Texas Continuous Manufactured Housing Surety Bond states that the bond holder shall faithfully discharge all obligations, duties, and responsibilities under the Texas Manufactured Housing Standards Act, and all applicable rules and regulations of the Executive Director of the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.
This bond is to be written in favor of the state and the people of the state. If you as the bond principal (the person or entity that bought the bond) do harm against the state or the people of the state with your business dealings, a claim may be made of the bond.
