The Tennessee Home Improvement Contractor’s Bond is required by the Department of Commerce and Insurance, in the amount of $10,000. The bond states that the bondholder shall comply with all the rules and regulations of the Tennessee Code.
A Home Improvement Contractor is any person who undertakes, agrees to undertake, or agrees to perform home improvement for an owner. They are not an employee of the owner.
