Agents should file a bond for each separate location or place of business in the amount of $100 for each $10,000 of the tax liability on an average month’s purchases of tobacco. The minimum bond amount is set at $2,000. Take note that those looking to obtain a tobacco manufacturer’s warehouse license must file a $20,000 surety bond.
