The South Dakota Telephone Solicitations Bond is required by the State’s Attorney General. The bond states that the bondholder shall follow all rules and regulations of South Dakota’s Codified Laws ch. 37-30.
Applicants soliciting contributions and not collecting or having physical access to the contributions require a $10,000 bond. Those soliciting contributions and having physical access require a $20,000 bond.

Thirty days prior to conducting any solicitation submit an application to the Attorney General. Include a Registration Statement, Solicitation Notice and Copy of Contract between solicitor and charitable organization. Likewise, include a Consent to Make Solicitation Notice and a Donation of Tickets Agreement.
