In addition, individuals must file a Registration Application with the Secretary of State’s Office. Registration is on an annual basis and needs to be completed before any solicitation activity is done.

What needs to be provided with the application?

  • $50 filing fee
  • List of all charitable organizations with an active contract
  • Names of current officers and directors, along with their addresses and phone numbers
  • Names of all officers, directors, individual owners or partners for the preceding three years
  • List of all employees, job title, whether full time, part-time, or contracted
  • List of all charitable organizations which have been contracted in the State for
    the previous three years
