  • If a promoter fails to pay a boxer, the boxer can file a claim against the bond to recover their unpaid purse.

  6. Submit a completed application and all required documentation to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission.

The license is valid for one year and must be renewed annually. In addition to the above requirements, you must also obtain a Pennsylvania Boxing Promoter Bond. The bond must be on file with the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission before you can promote a boxing match.

Once you have met all of the requirements and have been issued a license, you can begin promoting boxing matches in Pennsylvania. However, you must still obtain approval from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission for each match that you promote.
