According to the Oklahoma Credit Services Organization Act, Title 24 Chapter 8, a Credit Services Organization is any person who sells, provides, or performs any of the following services more than twelve times a year in exchange for payment:
In order to conduct business in the State of Oklahoma, all Credit Services Organizations must be licensed pursuant to the Title 24, Chapter 8, Section 141 of the Oklahoma Statutes. Obtaining a surety bond is one of the licensing requirements.
