All who wish to be certified as a Well Water Contractor in North Dakota must take the examination. Before they can take the examination, they must first complete a minimum of one-year apprenticeship or experience in water well drilling and construction under the direct supervision of a certified water well contractor or have completed a vocational school program of at least one year in water well construction.
Aside from that, they must pass the application form and they must also provide references who can attest to their experience. They must also pay the $100 fee for the exam. After completing the exam, they must present the surety bond plus a certification fee of $200.
