The New Hampshire Motor Fuel Distributor Bond is required by the State of New Hampshire, Department of Safety, Road Toll Bureau.
Who is required to submit a New Hampshire Motor Fuel Distributor Bond?
No person can sell or use motor fuel unless the person is the holder of a valid license to engage in the business as a distributor or motor fuels. The condition of this bond is that the bondholder shall promptly file true reports and make payment of all motor vehicle road tolls, together with all penalties and interest imposed by provisions of Chapter 260 NH Revised Statutes Annotated 1955 as amended.
What is the bond amount?
There is no set amount for the bond, but it should not be less than $10,000. The amount should be equal to approximately two times the monthly road toll liability of the distributor.
