The Liquor Drink Tax Bond ensures the state that payment of all taxes will be paid. The bond is one of the licensing requirements.

In addition to the tax bond, individual’s must receive a liquor license. The Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control will issue the license. Prior to offering any liquor in their establishments, individuals must have a Kansas retailers’ sales tax number.
