The Hawaii Certificate of Title Bond is required by the State of Hawaii, City and County of Honolulu. The bond is required when you desire to obtain a duplicate Certificate of Title to replace one lost, mutilated, or illegible, and in the absence of regularly required supporting evidence or ownership, is required to give bond by virtue of 286-42.
What is the Bond Amount?
If you do not know how much your Certificate of Title Bond needs to be, you must call the DMV to find out. Surety companies do not know how much your bond needs to be for, only the DMV does. You cannot fully complete our application and we cannot write your bond until the DMV tells you how much the bond amount is.
