More information about these licensing requirements and processes can be found on the State of Georgia’s website.
This performance bond serves to ensure the state that all promoters and their agents and employees will abide by the rules set forth by the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission. If a client is financially harmed due to the licensee’s violation of these rules and regulations, they can make a claim on their Georgia Surety Bond for Promoter’s License. If settled, the surety company (the company that issued the surety bond) will pay out the claim. However, the bond principal (the promoter in this case) must repay the surety company for any losses incurred.
