Driver Training School License:

• Application: You’ll need to complete a Driver Training School Application form provided by the DDS.
• Background Checks: All applicants (owners, partners, officers, etc.) must undergo a fingerprint-based criminal background check through the Georgia Applicant Processing System (GAPS).
• Certified Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs) from each state you held a license in (except Georgia) for the past 5 years are required.
• Education Verification: Submit a photocopy of your diploma or official transcript proving at least a high school diploma or GED.
• Fees: Pay a non-refundable application fee of $25.

Additional Requirements:

• Submit samples of contracts, forms, and receipts used by your school.
