To be a manufactured housing installer in Arizona, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Experience: Have at least two years of experience in the installation of manufactured homes or factory-built buildings.
  • Education: Complete an approved training program, such as the Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI) Online Installation Course.
  • Licensing: Obtain an Installer license from the Arizona Department of Housing (ADOH).
  • Bonding: Obtain an Arizona Manufactured Housing Installer Bond
  • Insurance: Obtain general liability insurance and workers’ compensation insurance.

In addition to these requirements, you must also:
