The Texas Health Spa Bond is required by the Texas Secretary of State. The Secretary of State requires that the Health Spa Bond be in an amount that follows the chart below:

The Health Spa Bond will not cost the bond principal (the person or entity that buys the bond) the full amount of the bond. The bond is required for all health spas in Texas. Texas defines a health spas as “a business that offers for sale, or sells, memberships that provide the members instruction in or the use of facilities for a physical exercise program.” The Health Spa Bond states that the bond holder shall faithfully discharge all obligations, duties, and responsibilities under the Health Spa Act, Texas Occupations Code and all applicable rules and regulations of the Office of the Secretary of State. This bond protects the state and the public from any fraud, deceit or malpractice on the part of your company.
