A Nevada Fuel Supplier Bond is a type of surety bond required for anyone who imports, sells, or delivers motor fuel into the state. This includes fuel dealers, fuel suppliers, special fuel dealers, and special fuel suppliers. The bond is required to ensure that the licensee will comply with all applicable state laws and regulations, including paying all taxes and fees. The amount of the bond is determined by the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) on a case-by-case basis. However, the minimum bond amount is $1,000. The bond must be obtained from a surety company that is licensed to do business in Nevada.

The cost of the surety bond is usually between 1% and 3% of the bond amount, subject to a minimum premium and fees of $150 to$250. Surety1 will shop its many markets to procure the right price at the right terms. Nevada Fuel Supplier Bond
