The Maryland Well Drillers Bond is required by the Maryland State Board of Well Drillers in the amount of $5,000. Well drilling includes engaging in the activity of making, altering, repairing or sealing a well. In addition to installing, altering, repairing or disconnecting well system equipment.
The bond states that the bondholder shall comply with all of the terms and conditions of said license. Including all laws, rules, regulations and contracts relating to the construction, alteration, repair, or abandonment of water wells. Including the installation, alteration, repair, or removal of water pumps, water tanks and/or water conditioning equipment.
